The Award unveils the latest longlist, which includes nine novels and three poetic works
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – 30 November 2020: The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced the Sheikh Zayed Book Award (SZBA) longlist for the ‘Literature’ category for its 15th edition, which comprises 12 titles from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait, Sudan and Iraq. The Literature category attracted 584 entries for the 2020/2021 Award, which represents a 33 percent increase compared to the previous edition.

Dubai, November 23, 2020: The first preliminary camel race prior to the sixth edition of the National Day Camel Marathon, will be held next Friday, 27th of November, in Dubai’s Al Marmoom racetrack. The race, organized by the Hamadan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC), is one of two races introduced by the Center last season.
