Tommy Hilfiger visits Dubai to kick off 10th Anniversary Celebrations in The Middle East
Mr. Hilfiger attended the World Retail Congress, where he was inducted into its prestigious Hall of Fame, and hosted an event his store in the Mall of the Emirates.

Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], announces that Mr. Tommy Hilfiger visited Dubai, UAE, to kick off the Tommy Hilfiger brand’s 10th anniversary celebrations in the Middle East.
On April 12, Hilfiger attended the World Retail Congress to accept his induction into the organization’s prestigious Hall of Fame. This recognition honors the lifetime achievements of retail leaders, pioneers and entrepreneurs who have founded and led modern retailing’s greatest companies and brands.
“As we celebrate 10 years in the Middle East, it’s an incredible honor to be recognized with this award here in Dubai,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “I began my career in the fashion industry at 18 with one store in upstate New York, and it’s been an incredible experience to look back on the amazing milestones that have brought us to where we are today: over 1,500 stores in more than 115 counties. As innovation and changing consumers continue to influence the retail landscape, I look forward to seeing what the future will hold for our industry.”
On April 13, Hilfiger attended an event at the Tommy Hilfiger Mall of the Emirates store, where he met with key press, VIP and influencers in the region.
The World Retail Congress is a forum for international retail leaders to discuss issues and trends impacting the fashion industry. Hilfiger’s induction into the organization’s Hall of Fame reflects the achievements of his career in the fashion industry and his success in building a globally-recognized lifestyle brand.
