Sofitel’s latest projects, the undisputed leader in luxury coastal resorts in Tamuda Bay in Morocco, features GROHE fittings

Located on one of the most beautiful Moroccan beaches of the Mediterranean, and set against the stunning backdrop of the Rif Mountains, the Sofitel Tamuda Bay stands proudly in one of the most idyllic settings in the entire kingdom. The resort features 104 bedrooms and suites, eight bungalows and five villas spanning a total floor surface area of 38,128 square meters. And, to cater for today’s clientele, the luxury hotel offers a genuine experience in French art de vivre combined with the refinement of an authentic Moroccan style.

The hotel was fitted with a select collection carefully chosen from GROHE’s extensive range of brassware, showers and accessories to create dreamy bathrooms and complement each room to help guests experience a genuine sense of well-being.

The Sofitel Tamuda Bay Beach and Spa was designed by GM Architects’ Galal Mahmoud and brought to life in partnership with Anwar Hajj, Randa Chahine, lead architect Micheline Abou Zeidan and project architects Aziz Anid, Zeina Khaddage and Maha Abou Kheir. 

The work was driven by the cultural references of northern Morocco and reinterpreted in a contemporary language. The very essence of the project is the fusion of the opposing shores of the Mediterranean: on one side the French Riviera’s world of contemporary art and glamour and on the other, Morocco’s charming traditional crafts and authentic lifestyle.
