Sharjah, February 9, 2017:  People from different places came and joined in the Basant celebration at the Skyline Spring Weekend 2017 last February 2-3, 2017 at SUC campus amidst rain and strong wind in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.  

The event jumpstarted with an impressive array of cars and bikes in a Motor Show organized by Ejar Car, the event’s official car partner. Car enthusiasts and bikers showed off their rides and competed to win prizes. The first day ended with an energetic performance from a local rock band, Along for the Ride.

The second day of Skyline Spring Weekend 2017 attracted different groups from the UAE to celebrate the Basant Festival. Families, couples, and friends arrived with their kite flying materials and owned the open ground. The event’s official partner, the UAE Kite Flying Club, sponsored kites along with Al Ghurair Exchange.

Despite the unpredictable weather, guests eagerly geared up their kites and enjoyed the brushing of strong wind and numbing cold. 

The official travel and tourism partners of the event were Air Arabia and Holiday Me and supported by MAX and Cool & Cool. 

The Skyline Spring Weekend 2017 is an annual event of Skyline University College.
