Being thoughtful of every aspect of the product lifecycle, LG OLED TVs are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes and place the remote control in a special bag made of bio-based materials. Additionally, LG OLED TVs now weigh 45% less* thanks to light, composite fibers, resulting in fewer carbon emissions during transportation and easier recycling. Recognition of Eco-Consciousness
LG OLED TVs are certified as eco-friendly by a number of international organizations. One of the world’s foremost providers of testing, inspection and certification services, Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS) recognized LG OLED TV as an Eco-Product for resource efficiency and not using hazardous materials. LG OLED TVs also received the Carbon Trust’s product carbon footprint label for reducing carbon emissions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
