As a leading hub for cargo industry Sharjah Airport Authority highlights its leading experiences in Air Cargo Africa

Sharjah, February 22, 2023- Sharjah Airport Authority is participating in the 10th edition of Air Cargo Africa exhibition, which is being held from February 21 to 23, 2023, in Johannesburg, South Africa.


The Authority is dedicated to participate in such significant events to showcase its cargo expertise as well as to promote Sharjah Airport as a major hub for airfreight in the Middle East. The Authority further recognises the exhibition’s significance as an international event that gathers top decision-makers and industry leaders from across the globe. The event is an ideal platform to form alliances, establish business and relations network; feature and exchange innovative ideas and experiences.

His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “We are committed to participating in several prominent international events and activities such as the Air Cargo Africa. This exhibition serves as a platform to share experiences and innovative ideas with key players and leaders in the cargo sector. Sharjah Airport is renowned for being a major hub for air cargo in the region and around the globe, owing to its cutting-edge infrastructure, innovative logistical solutions in its operations, as well as extensive knowledge and expertise of its staffs in the aviation and air cargo industries.”

'By participating in this event, we seek to highlight and discuss the current trends and changes in the air cargo industry, as well as share our insights into developing strategies that help enhance the airport operations as well as boost the volume of cargo and goods. We will further highlight the benefits and services offered at competitive prices in the airport, which will contribute to solidifying its position as a preferred destination for cargo across the region and the world,” he added.

Sharjah Airport Authority is holding meetings with leading global companies in the air cargo industry at the event to explore the latest developments and future possibilities in the sector, both locally and internationally. Sharjah Airport’s booth at the event is attracting significant interest from the attendees as it offers detailed information regarding the airport services, amenities, and innovative solutions for customers.
