Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Concludes Activities for Innovation Month 2023

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 8, 2023: Dubai Health Authority (DHA) recently held a ceremony to conclude its activities for Innovation Month 2023. The ceremony was held in presence of H.E. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of the DHA and DHA executives and employees, to honour winners who presented innovative concepts. 

UAE Innovates is the largest national event of its kind, with the aim of consolidating the culture of innovation, enhancing community participation, celebrating local innovators and applying their innovations in a way that improves quality of life.
DHA held a ceremony to conclude UAE Innovation Month 2023 and honour the winners of DHA’s most innovative idea submissions. 
Al Ketbi said during the ceremony that the DHA is keen to foster an environment that stimulates creativity and innovation as well as adopt innovative processes across the customer care journey. 


 The ceremony included honouring winners of the Hackathon on Sustainability in Healthcare in line with 2023 being the Year of Sustainability in UAE. Winners of the Hackathon on Quality as well as employees that obtained intellectual property rights for DHA related works, were also felicitated during the ceremony. 
By participating in the hackathon, the Authority was able to receive many ideas that can be used and turned into projects to support plans to develop health care systems in a sustainable and innovative manner. 


 Paul Dawalibi, CEO of Holodeck Ventures held a workshop on Metaverse and the Future of Healthcare. He discussed the possibilities of healthcare in the Metaverse and how it has the ability to transform the healthcare sector. 

Al Ketbi thanked employees for their dedication and efforts to foster innovation and creativity in the healthcare sector and highlighted the importance of adopting latest technologies to better healthcare.
