  • More than 30 established and emerging designers from around the globe to showcase latest collections in the Middle East’s fashion capital, Dubai
  • d3 and Arab Fashion Council launch International Buyers Programme to enhance talent discovery and facilitate strategic partnerships

Dubai, UAE, 17th July 2024: The global and regional fashion labels determining the upcoming Spring/Summer 2025 season's biggest trends and tastes at Dubai Fashion Week have been announced. Presenting ahead of New York Fashion Week and setting the tone for the global fashion calendar, DFW will be held from 1-7 September 2024 at Dubai Design District (d3), with a wider citywide events calendar.

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), a global creative ecosystem by TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council, Dubai Fashion Week represents the highest levels of excellence, foresight and diversity. More than 30 brands from France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Palestine, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom will showcase streetwear and haute couture collections alongside internationally acclaimed guest designers. The event’s footprint also extends citywide, with 40 invite-only presentations, private dinners and collection launches hosted by global brands and industry stakeholders.

The first three days of Dubai Fashion Week SS25 will focus on haute couture collections, presenting an array of high fashion and personal shopping experiences crafted collaboratively with distinguished retailers. The last three days will spotlight ready-to-wear collections by acclaimed designers such as Alia Bastamam, April & Alex, Benang Jarum, BLSSD, Dima Ayad, Born in Exile, Button Scarves, Choice, Heaven Lights, Riva, Self-made, Viva Vox, and Weinsanto, presented and supported by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the governing body behind Paris Fashion Week®. The last day of the calendar will focus on private appointments and a buyers' market. It is possible to consult the calendar online at www.dubaifashionweek.ae/calendar.

Launching for the first time alongside high-profile runway shows and events is the International Buyers Programme, enabling retailers worldwide to enrol in DFW’s Tier Benefits. The programme facilitates expanding buyers’ reach and talent discovery through DFW and within Dubai’s vibrant fashion ecosystem, reinforcing the city as the region’s de facto fashion capital.

“Dubai is the pulsating heart of fashion in the region, and Dubai Fashion Week is disseminating its rhythm globally,” said Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District (d3) – part of TECOM Group. “The collections and designers displayed on our runway inject diversity into the global fashion dialogue and demonstrate the powerful talent emerging within our region. DFW has unveiled incredible opportunities, partnerships and global networks to participating designers and buyers, and we look forward to pushing the envelope further with this latest edition that includes a new buyer’s platform, an expanded venue, more events and an extended schedule of designers. Dubai Fashion Week will once more raise the bar for fashion excellence and cement Dubai among the global fashion capitals.”

“A key objective of our Buyers Programme is to foster meaningful connections between global retailers and the innovative designers that Dubai Fashion Week showcases. The positive feedback from the global fashion industry highlights the importance of the platform in the international arena. We are committed to supporting the fashion ecosystem by creating opportunities for designers and retailers alike,” said Mohammed Aqra, Chief Strategy Officer of the Arab Fashion Council.

DFW’s strategic media partner, Meta, will also return with the highly anticipated Threads Talks V3.0, where industry experts will come together to shape the global fashion outlook in Dubai. Featuring a series of innovative panel discussions and exclusive seminars, the sessions will focus on current fashion trends and challenges from the perspectives of global and regional buyers, C-suite executives, and brand consultants for a comprehensive and engaging dialogue.

Pre-accreditation is open online through the official website. Claim a spot on the waiting list to attend Dubai Fashion Week.
