PARIS, FRANCE , KARL LAGERFELD is pleased to announce the launch of the K/Metal Signature bag collection for Spring/Summer 2017.  

Dubai, UAE, January 30, 2017:  Introducing a new icon: this luxe range translates Karl Lagerfeld’s signature into a hardware plaque, adding a striking design element to the variety of Bags and small accessories available in the all-leather collection.

Versatile shoppers, take-everywhere pouches, functional wallets and elegant baguette bags in staple KARL LAGERFELD shapes have been given the Signature treatment. Black, garnet and travertine make up the colour palette of these must-have maple leather styles.

The medium-sized K/Metal Signature Shoulderbag is set to be an instant classic alongside the existing and iconic KARL LAGERFELD K/Kuilted bag. Formed of two compartments, it’s the ultimate day-to-night style. The Karl plaque is artfully absorbed onto the front flap of the bag, creating an elegant contrast between the metal and leather textures.

This covetable style inspired a vivacious sub-collection of Shoulderbags in pop colours that are perfect for summer. Shades of cobalt blue, canary yellow, emerald green and cherry red steal the show and add a vibrant touch to any outfit. The range, made of structured saffiano leather, sees the tonal Karl signature stitched along the front exterior. 

The K/Metal Signature line fuses all the hallmarks of the KARL LAGERFELD brand: iconic design with a dash of irreverence. The collection will launch worldwide at KARL LAGERFELD stores, and selected retailers February, 2017.
