Dubai, UAE, October 29, 2017: Celebrating art, design and creativity, Dubai Design District (d3) will present the first edition of the Blue Cave Urban Art festival, an action packed three-day weekend event, taking place across the Design Quarter at d3, from November 2-4, 2017.
The programme of workshops and live art installations is set to inspire a diverse audience, from families with young children through to the most discerning artists.
Dubai Design District the region’s ultimate design destination will host this creative festival. With music, live painting, poetry performances, talks and workshops, the weekend-long schedule will feature talent from across the world including renowned French-Tunisian calligraphity artist El Seed, L7M, Rodrigo Level and Fernando Chamarelli. Works and installations will remain at d3 as part of the district’s Public Art curated programme for the public to enjoy at d3 around the year.

- Doodle Art Workshop by Cholo Juan
- Illustration Workshop by Dozi Dreams
- Customization Session for sneakers and jackets by Tarsila Schubert

Blue Cave concept creates a platform to unite artists from different industries under one roof, whilst promoting urban art in the region. The concept recently launched in Dubai with a 10,000 sq.ft. art factory located in Business Bay.
