Jabra is part of the GN Group as GN Audio, established almost 150 years ago and today it is a leading provider of consumer headphones, professional headsets, fitness tracking hearables and sound systems that are created essential to provide clarity, and exceptional sound through state-of-the-art technology.
Globally, GN Group has a home in 100 offices divided between the two brands, GN Audio [Jabra] and GN Hearing [ReSound]. The Dubai office will be the first coalition office of the two brands, worldwide, apart from the GN Group headquarters in Copenhagen.
On the inaugural event of the office, Joel Hamon, GN Audio President EMEA & CALA [Jabra], said, “Dubai is the fastest growing city in terms of GN business, and so is a central and strategical place to implement head-quarters for the region. Dubai is known worldwide as it’s a hub to the Middle East, hub to Africa; while in my region, we have an office in Paris, in Madrid, in Milan, and in Holland, it only made good sense to have an office here. I feel like this was a clear and obvious step to go through - to be seen as a strong brand, you need to have a space where you can showcase your brand. We look forward to a long and fruitful coalition of the two brands at this growth-pinnacle in the Middle East, Africa & Turkey.”
Soeren Oestergaard, GN Hearing VP & General Manager of Global Distributor Sales [ReSound], said, “I am happy and proud that the growth of the region allowed us to reach this stage, our brands ReSound, Beltone and Interton are growing dramatically and steeply in the region, it is time to support our partners more, lead the market and take the business to next level. The regional combined office with Jabra will also allow us to act as one company, exchange our regional expertise and build a solid growth momentum.”
The office launch was attended by – from GN Audio; Joel Hamon, President EMEA & CALA and Hanny Hanna, Regional Director MEA&T.
