Dubai, 11 November 2018: For the first time outside of China, Huawei has rolled out its ‘HUAWEI Developer Day’ workshop series bringing together the best smartphone developers across the Middle East & North Africa to announce HUAWEI developer alliance introduced in the region. The opening session was held in Dubai on 8 November, gathering more than 100 independent developer and design startups.

Powered by the HUAWEI Developer Alliance, the workshops are aimed at providing developers with insights into HUAWEI AppGallery and HUAWEI Themes, through interactive presentations and competitions. Using this platform to do a deep-dive into the latest technologies, developers can create intelligent solutions to provide an unparalleled smartphone experience for Huawei users worldwide.

Justin Chen, Managing Director of Huawei MENA Consumer Cloud Service Dept.: “We continue to deliver breakthrough technologies and achieve new industry standards by focusing on product innovation and exceeding customer expectations.
