The signing was also attended by Mr. Yannis Anagnostakis, CEO of RAKHH, Mr. Saeed Mubarak Al Mazroui, Deputy General Manager of Beit Al Khair Society, and a group of directors from both parties along with a number of RAK’s community and senior officials.

The MoU aims to launch new charitable and social responsibility projects through the cooperation between RAKHH, one of RAK’s most significant hospitality organizations and the Beit Al Khair Society.

Under the MoU, RAK Hospitality Holding will promote and display the projects of Beit Al Khair Society on their website, and will allow Beit Al Khair Society to put its fund raising boxes at their offices. Additionally, RAK Hospitality Holding will be sponsoring a number of mutually agreed projects or annual events that serve the community in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK)

“RAK Hospitality Holding is committed to supporting initiatives and projects dedicated towards social responsibility and volunteerism. This memorandum comes in line with the strategic objectives of the Year of Zayed, which we are still celebrating in commemoration to the legacy of our Late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed. We strive to achieve such objectives through new projects and initiatives that reflect his values and vision to support the diverse society of the UAE and to lend a hand to those in need.” Comments HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of RAKHH

Mr.Yannis Anagnostakis, CEO of RAKHH, said: 'We are delighted to have partnered with the Beit Al Khair Society, which is in line with our desire to support UAE-based social and charitable institutions. Through its active branch in Ras Al Khaimah, the Society supports nearly 600 families with monthly cash assistance and provides more than 3,500 cases annually with emergency assistance

'Beit Al Khair was keen to sign such an agreement with RAK Hospitality Holding, which operates under the support and guidance of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, with a wide variety of activities, thus enhancing the status of RAK’s tourism on both domestic and international levels,” said HE Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, General Manager of Beit Al Khair Society.  'This agreement comes in response to the wishes of His Highness the Chairman along with His Highness’ fellow board members to contribute towards the charitable and voluntary efforts of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
