Lg to Display Advanced Led Screens Installed at Newly Renovated Cairo Stadium

Stadium Signage Designed to Revolutionize Fan Experience

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 24 June 2019:   On the 25th of June, LG Electronics (LG) will be inviting its customers and partners around MEA to experience its latest indoor and outdoor LED display solutions for businesses at an exclusive event in Dubai.

LG LED Connect 2019 MEA will see the company showcase its latest LED displays to help transform stadiums in the region. With increased efforts being made by stadium owners to invest in new technologies, LG will illustrate how its latest innovations can help provide club members, fans and visitors with clear and engaging visuals throughout sporting and music events.

LG has recently installed its LBH High Brightness LED screens at the newly renovated Cairo International Stadium in the capital’s district of Nasr City. Conducting a tour at the site, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi viewed the latest technologies being implemented at the stadium ahead of its opening for the 2019 African Nations Cup.

The stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the football tournament, in addition to a number of matches throughout its running. Provide attendees with a media-rich experience, LG’s LED screens come in various formats, suitable for a range of stadium sizes, formats and other outdoor venue applications. Designed to provide robust performance, they also feature exceptional image quality. LG’s rigorous quality standards have resulted in the screens benefitting from a higher contrast ratio, able to reproduce accurate and vivid colors with sharpness and clarity.

The LBH High Brightness series is specifically recommended for fixed outdoor installations requiring high brightness and contrast. The units installed at Cairo International Stadium feature a maximum brightness of 8,000 nits for increased visibility for fans, whether keeping up-to-date with the scores or watching action replays. A high refresh rate of 3,840Hz assures flicker-free image capturing and smooth playback of content when fans record and share their favorite moments of a game.

With reliable weatherproof design, the front and rear cases of LG’s LBH screens are IP65-certified. In a region where frequent dust storms and moisture penetration can cause electronic signage to malfunction, LBH High Brightness Screens continue to work with stable operation, unaffected by extreme outdoor environments.

LG’s outdoor LED screens provide stadium owners with the ability to increase revenue from new advertising streams and ensure fans remain connected and updated on the latest happenings during a sporting fixture, regardless of their seating position.
