Enhancing the Construction 3D Printing Technology

Al Midfa further said: “This year’s edition is attracting companies specializing in the construction of modern buildings from all over the world and hosting experts in the construction technology, high-performance concrete, and prefabricated buildings.”

“Also, this edition is paying particular attention to the construction 3D printing technology, as part of the Expo Centre’s endeavors to bolster the Emirate of Sharjah's efforts to become a regional hub for all 3D printing-associated technologies, pursuant to the UAE’s 2050 plan to convert about 25% of buildings into 3D-printed ones,” Al Midfa concluded.

The International Concrete Conference & Exhibition is expected to attract a large number of manufacturers, suppliers, and investors from all over the world to enhance their presence in the regional markets and to maintain their prominent position in the competitive market, in light of the increased number of building and construction projects in the region with investments up to $ 316 billion between 2019 – 2021 in all GCC countries.
