UAE, August 24, 2021 – Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has announced that it is now accepting applications for its Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, all of which are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education, for the Academic Year 2021-2022. Its wide-ranging offered programs include business and quality management, accounting, health administration, human resources (HR) management, and project management, among others.

With the new academic year starting fall 2021, the university provides an exceptional opportunity for learners to benefit from its quality programs to be delivered using a sophisticated smart learning model, which includes direct classes and self-study aided by the latest technological innovations. The combined learning is an advanced step towards building a new generation armed with scientific knowledge and innovative skills and with unwavering commitment to excellence. This generation will play a pivotal role in the country’s progress as innovators, entrepreneurs, decision makers and nation builders, not job seekers.

The university is also accepting applications for its professional development programs in business administration, healthcare, environment, and education, which will be delivered using its flexible learning methodology.

HBMSU is a leader in providing accredited and quality courses designed to equip its learners with future skills using a smart learning model. This model allows flexibility to ensure the continuity of the learning process, away from the limits of time and place. All of its internationally recognized academic programs and professional development programs are valued by companies that are looking to hire knowledgeable, innovative, and creative university graduates who possess strong leadership and analytical skills. Many employers are also after graduates who can work remotely and use new business technologies and methods.

The university is a pioneer as well in creating a unique learning environment that enables learners to actively interact with their peers and instructors through ‘virtual synchronous sessions’ that will take place in virtual classrooms. Learners can also attend asynchronous sessions and are given direct, easy, and seamless access to all learning materials without the need to attend their classes on the campus located at Dubai Academic City. The final exams for some educational courses, however, may require personal attendance.

Fahad Al Saadi, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, HBMSU, said that the university welcomes new learners who want to build their capabilities in the areas of business and quality administration, accounting, healthcare management, HR, and project management. These majors will help activate the young generation’s contributions to the country as its partners in enhancing its readiness for the next 50 years. In five decades, the country is seen to evolve and become the world’s number one nation.

Al Saadi added: “Our Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral programs can open new horizons for the country’s young creative minds. The courses are provided using our unique smart learning approach to ensure that our learners can compete globally in terms of knowledge and skills. This is our response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and President of the University, to make quality education a top priority as the only way to build qualified human resources in line with the country’s vision of the future.”

Al Saadi further stated: “We look forward to welcoming a new batch of creative minds who aspire to gain knowledge from our university. We would love them to be part of our journey towards realizing unprecedented achievements and advancing higher education according to our mission of producing the country’s future entrepreneurs, not job seekers. We are committed to providing quality learning, supporting a culture of lifelong learning, and enriching scientific research, with a focus on technological innovations such as artificial intelligence. We are dedicated to harnessing our pioneering initiatives such as the “Cloud Campus” and “EduGame,” among others, in line with our aspirations and ambitions to become a top university that spearheads future transformations in the education sector. As a hub of scientific knowledge, we continue to strengthen our key role in producing qualified young graduates who are capable of guiding our progress and development with much efficiency and competence, in line with the vision of our wise leadership.”
