United Arab Emirates, Dubai, November 3, 2022: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) hoisted today the UAE flag to join the Flag Day celebrations taking place across the country.
DHA raised the UAE flag to show their pride and appreciation to their homeland. The UAE flag was raised at the DHA headquarters by His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority in presence of senior DHA officials and employees.
Al Ketbi on his behalf and on behalf of all DHA employees congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, on the occasion.
During the flag-raising ceremony, Al Ketbi said: 'Flag Day instils in our minds and conscience, all the glories of our homeland, its achievements and the progress achieved by our country. The UAE’s flag has become a symbol of the principles of goodness, humanity and peace across all international forums.”
He added: 'Flag Day is also a day to renew our pledge towards our homeland. To strive to continue our achievements, and to move forward towards a bright future for our country and its future generations.”
His Excellency Al Ketbi and all officials and employees of the Authority lined up in front of the UAE flag, and as the flag-raising ceremony began, the national anthem played in the background.
His Excellency Al Ketbi and all the attendees took an oath to serve the country during the flag hoisting ceremony.
