Globe Air Cargo USA will be celebrating this month 30 years of unequalled success in the North America market.
Globe Air Cargo USA, a subsidiary of the ECS Group, counts on an amazing team of 61 proud and loyal airfreight professionals working from 8 offices strategically located in all the major US gateways: New York, Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston and Miami. Owing its longevity and prosperity to its ability to cover a worldwide network of destinations, local market knowledge and strategic relationships with a wide range of influential logistic partners, Globe Air Cargo has always been a leader in providing technology and business intelligence to its airline partners.
Globe Air Cargo success story first started in 1992. Back then, Astrid Artho was in charge of the operation, and one of its first customers was the airline Aerolineas Tampa. This first partnership was only the prelude to many years of success to come, made of extraordinary challenges and achievements, mastered by a wonderful team. Since then, Globe Air Cargo has secured many fruitful and long running partnerships with airlines such as All Nippon Airways, a collaboration which started 16 years ago. Over the years, it has also tackled an impressive range of demanding cargo operations, some of which quite unusual, such as the recent transportation of 500T of local Jack Daniels whiskey to Europe and China.
When asked about how he feels about Globe Air celebrating 30 years, Francisco Hernandez, Country Manager USA, is very positive: “We are very proud of this accomplishment. It proves our resiliency and it is a sign of stability in a very sensitive and volatile market. It shows our customers and partners the level of professionalism associated with ECS Group. Some people dream of success, we make it happen!”
As for Danny Olynick, Regional Vice-President North America, he explains that this long term presence is achieved by the personalized and strong commercial approach: “Globe Air Cargo USA has remained true to its commercial DNA. We firmly believe that there is not one specific mold where “one size fits all”. What makes us unique is our outstanding flexibility to meet customer needs and expectations, always with exceptional service.”
Adrien Thominet, Executive Chairman of ECS Group, is delighted by this news: “Congratulations to Globe Air Cargo USA for their longstanding success! I am so proud of our local heroes who truly embody ECS Group’s core values and Augmented GSSA strategy. By always pushing their limits further, they have enabled Globe Air Cargo USA to become much more than a GSA.”
Considering its undeniable strength and reliability, Globe Air Cargo USA will no doubt enjoy many more years of success.
