Dubai Sports Council moves Dubai Marathon to Expo City
Dubai Sports Council has decided to move the Dubai World Marathon, one of the world’s fastest long distance running races, scheduled on 12th Feb. 2023, to the Expo City Dubai, which is considered as the most appropriate location to host this most prominent sports event in the region, because of its spacious areas and it is easily accessible by vehicles, buses or Dubai Metro.
All versions of Dubai Marathon are organized with participation of tens of thousands of contestants, comprising professionals & athletes of different physical levels from all over the world. Participants in this Marathon are classified into three categories; as follows: the Full Marathon 42.195 km / the 10 km race / the 4 km race.
