Extension of Active PR regional network in Libya can help companies capture new segments and take pole position in the recovering market
Dubai/Tripoli, 17 February 2014 – Active Public Relations & Marketing Communications (Active PR) has strengthened its network in the Middle-East, adding an office in Libya, Tripoli as a result of increasing demand from clients to tap into the business opportunities offered by the steadily recovering market. Active PR, the growing and SMART consultancy that celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013, now operates 4 locations via partners in Egypt, KSA, Turkey and Libya.
The Libyan office is headed-up by Fisal El Giloushi, with experience spanning across a wide range of B2B and B2C sectors who assumes the Active PR General Manager role in the country. “The Libyan office is the result of 4 years of work developing contacts, visiting the market and our desire to add value to our existing Clients as well as create new opportunities. We are really pleased to see the hard work starting to pay off already in this respect” commented Louay Al Samarrai, one of Active PR’s Managing Directors.
Fisal El Giloushi, General Manager of Active PR in Libya said “I am very happy to be a part of the Active PR team and benefit from the support and reputation they have gained in providing added-value consultancy in the region. This will allow to confidently servicing Client requirements in Libya”
This is a strategic move for the consultancy in that Libya is closer to Europe but with strong relationships with the Middle East region. Active PR feels this reflects their own DNA and sees this expansion as a step forward bringing their expertise to this market.
“We have been successfully supporting our clients and delivering regionally in 11 different and culturally disparate markets across the Middle East & Levant; as well as providing targeted exposure on an international scale via our global partners. But there was a gap to fill in the coverage of both regional and international networks in markets like Libya, Tunisia and Algeria” added Al Samarrai. “The gap is now partly closed”, punctuated the MD.
Active PR counts some of the biggest names in technology and finance to name a few within its portfolio including: Xerox, SITA, Riverbed, JPMorgan Private Bank and SafeNet and has witnessed significant growth across all areas over the last 6 months. The Agency was established in 2003 in the UAE and recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary influencing opinions in the Middle East and North African region.
“Libya is a market that represents a great deal of potential, and early mover advantage is more important than ever as the country develops and we are following our own advice in setting this office up now”, added El Giloushi.
The response has already been very positive and Active PR is already in talks with potential Clients who are either operating already in the country or are keen to expand their presence there.
Active PR Libya is up and running as of the 1st January, 2014
