Dubai-Based King Group Hospitality Launches Punjab Restaurant – a 24-hour Multi-Cuisine Destination

Punjab Restaurant serves North Indian, South Indian, Arabic, Thai, Chinese, Italian, European, Mexican, Mediterranean and Continental Cuisine as well as delicious sweets – all in one place – in an all-day dining that runs 24/7

Dubai, UAE, November 21, 2021:  King Group Hospitality, a Dubai-based international hospitality brand engaged in food services and retail sector, launched Punjab Restaurant – a multi-cuisine destination that serves Indian, Arabic, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, European, Mexican and Continental food as well as a rich collection of delicious Indian sweets – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Punjab Restaurant is the first of its kind eatery that serves such a wide variety of food under one roof.

The new restaurant, conveniently located on the Trade Centre Road in Karama – where a number of eateries cater to thousands of customers every day – is also close to the popular Amritsr Restaurant, operated by King Group Hospitality.

Punjab Restaurant has a seating capacity of 70 people, where customers can choose from a selection of 300 types of food, starting from Sandwich, Samosa, Chaat, Pizzas, Momos, Kabab, Vegetarian Kabab, Thai Green Curry, Lassi, to Chinese Fried Rice, Noodles, Nachos, Tacos and all other types of food.

“An all-day dining, Punjab Restaurant caters to all diverse tastes where each family member can order the food of their choice – without having to go to four restaurants – and have them all in one place,” Vicky M. Sethi, Managing Director of KGH and a serial entrepreneur, who had launched and popularised Kulcha King, before selling it off to a group of investors.

“When choosing a restaurant, people with diverse food taste spend time debating what food they should eat and end up sometimes going to a food court and ordering from different restaurants. At Punjab Restaurant, we have a complete food court under one roof.

“We have carefully selected our kitchen staffs and chefs – experts in all types of cuisine – a total of 45 professionals to cater to all types of food. We have put significant resources to ensure that we deliver nothing but the best.”

All the food in the menu is available throughout the day and night, which means a customer could order any of the items from the 300 dishes any time in the night and eat it too!

This is the fifth restaurant being operated by KGH Hospitality, whose hugely successful Amritsr brand has five restaurants – including three in Thailand and two in Dubai.

Amritsr is serves authentic North Indian food at an affordable price. The success of Amritsr comes through word of mouth – by customers who had dined in the outlets.

KGH is a UAE-based international hospitality brand engaged in food services and retail sector where it is making a difference.

The food services industry has seen a strong growth following the UAE’s successful handling of the COVID-19 pandemic – with more than 90 percent of the UAE population receiving vaccine shots.

“Customers are coming back to restaurants, and we can see the numbers are growing – coming to the pre-pandemic level, due to the opening of the boarders to foreign tourists,” Vicky Sethi says.

“The Expo 2020 has made a lot of difference. More and more tourists entering the country and we can see the positive vibe across the country. That way, the opening of the Punjab Restaurant couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time.”

Sethi says, one of the key sections of Punjab Restaurant is its rich collection of Indian sweets which is drawing a large crowd.

“We plan to supply sweets to hotels, parties as well as we plan to set up sweet kiosks in hypermarkets – to cater to the wider customer base,” he said. “We are looking at multiple hypermarket locations to set up Punjab sweet corners.”

For over 40 years, KGH has perfected the art of food retail services. For us, it has always been quality over quantity, as our staff diligently works on providing the ultimate food experience to all our customers.

KGH traces its origin through its first venture established in 1970 in India. Its CEO Manjit Singh's love for food and a vision for creating a formidable food empire, led to the success of King Group that we see today. The company set foot in Dubai in the year 2008 and since then has grown leaps and bounds.
