Fun before Back to School, with Space and Science at Nakheel's Malls

Dubai, 09 August 2023 - As the new school year approaches, Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall will be hosting lots of fun and engaging educational activities to keep children busy and entertained, from 18 August to 3 September.  

AstroLab
Children can unleash their creativity and explore the depths of their imagination at the AstroLab sessions at Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall. Choose from robot building, LEGO robotics, 3D printing and Minecraft activities, suitable for all ages. 

Enjoy the Mad Scientist performances at Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall, as you witness the breathtaking spectacle of science with smoke vortices, floating beach balls, and soaring rolls of toilet paper. 

Free hands-on activities and experiences at AstroLab every day at Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall, 18 August to 3 September, 2 pm to 10 pm.  
Free learning activities with Mad Scientist shows in Ibn Battuta Mall on 26 August and Circle Mall on 2 September. 

Roaming entertainment
Ibn Battuta Mall will come to life with roaming entertainment featuring The Mirrored Ballerina, as she dances and reflects light into the crowds, creating a stunning light show, with the opportunity to meet Modesh and Dana, our beloved UAE characters. Join in the fun and add an extra touch of magic to your shopping and dining experience!

Free Modesh and Dana appearance at Ibn Battuta Mall on 18 August, and 25 August, 4 pm to 9:30 pm.
Free Modesh and Dana appearance at Circle Mall on 26 August, and 1 September, 4 pm to 9:30 pm.

Kick off your back-to-school shopping at Nakheel’s destinations and stand a chance to win the prestigious Modesh scholarship.
