Bershka: Preview AW16
Bershka launches its AW16 cruise collection inspired in the late 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. The collections for Man and Woman interpret the most emblematic looks of these decades in which fashion imposed, once again, a set of must-haves which now become essential for this new season.
WOMAN
The feminine collection focuses on macro-trends that mark the Winter season with khakis, black/whites, nudes and dusty tones that stand out.
The GRUNGE trend reappears, clearly inspired by the same musical style that revolutionized the world of music and fashion. Layered garments will be important and black becomes the base color of many pieces. Hoods are an added feature that we will be seeing a lot throughout this campaign.
Lettering and logos come back as part of the GOTHIC trend, with black present in oversize dress-like sweaters combined with high boots. Messages in all types of garments are key in marking the difference in this collection
The ROMANTIC look is reinvented without leaving dresses, jumpers and fluid garments aside. A sporty touch is now added with sweaters and the iconic bombers in different versions.
The sporty trend takes up positions and widely inspires Bershka’s collection. The SPORTY look with a clear sports reminiscence that mixes basic pieces like pinstripe coats, with a reinterpreted gym look, typical of urban girls. Styling combines tight garments with other oversize pieces like puffers.
Dressy items make a comeback with the TAILORING look, where pinstripe suits and shirts are considered essentials throughout the entire campaign as part of the unisex trend. The pinstripe total look becomes a basic for this Winter season.
MAN
Past and present coexist in the new Bershka MAN collection. The 90’s are reinvented and serve as an inspiration for the upcoming 2016 Winter campaign.
The masculine line assembles the trendiest fashion looks in multiple silhouettes that give a unique personality to the most predominant trends of the season.
The CASUAL collection follows streetwear standards with contemporary aesthetics. The city becomes the scene for urban looks that combine garments like cut-knit sweaters, long-fit checked shirts and bombers in different versions. Natural colors mark the tones for this collection.
The 90´s is reinterpreted in the SMART collection mixing pieces garments of obvious sports influence. Retro-style elements and typical 90’s layering are combined with technical fabrics and some prints which results in an up-to-date look with a vintage feel to it.
The boldest feel appears in the NIGHT collection, with black as the base tone combined with camel pieces. The long-fit silhouette is reinforced in de-structured garments and with new volumes in outfits where layering is an essential characteristic.
The classic 90’s grunge style is reinterpreted in the key must-haves of Bershka’s STREET collection. Denim jackets and printed shirts that evoke the punk and rock music scenes are combined with skinny ripped jeans.
STREET is also represented in a capsule collection of soviet inspiration with 90’s distinctive polyester sports jackets in an oversize fitting. Other silhouettes belonging to this collection focus on a look made up of neutral tones like ash and cream, combined with joggers and jeans, all in an extra-long fitting for all types of garments.
