Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 16 October 2024: Dubai is getting ready to shine brighter than ever for this year's eagerly awaited Festival of Lights, with spectacular jewellery deals and glittering gold offers adding even more sparkle to citywide celebrations from 25 October to 7 November 2024. In keeping with Diwali’s cherished tradition of buying and gifting gold, leading retailers across the city are unveiling exclusive discounts, mega raffles, grand giveaways, and exciting prizes to dazzle residents and visitors this season.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), Diwali is the perfect time to shop, save, and strike gold. With unbeatable deals, not-to-be-missed promotions, and once-in-a-lifetime prizes waiting at every turn, this year’s celebrations promise to be nothing short of spectacular.

Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG) will ignite the festive spirit with their highly anticipated “Shine Bright this Diwali with City of Gold' campaign, running from 20 October to 7 November. Shoppers can enjoy up to 50 per cent off select diamond and pearl jewellery collections, alongside enticing price-drops on making charges, exclusive exchange offers, and free gifts with every purchase. Adding even more sparkle to the celebrations, 30 lucky shoppers stand an incredible chance to win their share of AED 150,000 in gift vouchers when spending AED 500 or more. To sweeten the deal, a flash sale will offer a staggering 75-90 per cent discount on all diamond jewellery, allowing shoppers to save big on their most precious festive buys.

Leading retailer Damas is offering free gold coins on purchases this Diwali. Customers who spend between AED 3,000 and AED 4,999 on diamond jewellery will receive a 0.5 gram 22-carat gold coin. Those who spend AED 5,000 will get a one gram 22-carat gold coin, and those who spend over AED 20,000 on diamonds can take home an additional one gram 22-carat gold coin. Shoppers who want to exchange their gold jewellery can make the most of exclusive offers this Diwali as Damas is offering zero deduction on the prevailing gold rate.

Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) will make Diwali even more golden with an exciting opportunity for 20 lucky winners to walk away with AED 100,000 worth of 24-carat gold coins from 21 October to 7 November, by spending just AED 200 at any participating mall. And on 1 November, for every spend of AED 400 or more, 10 lucky shoppers at each participating mall can take home a premium chocolate hamper, making this Diwali celebration all the more delicious.

At City Centre Deira, the Diwali festivities will dazzle from 25 October to 7 November with stunning décor and ambiance, grand prizes, exclusive retail offers, captivating cultural performances, and thrilling live entertainment. Shoppers who spend over AED 300 will be able to enter the grand prize draw to win an extraordinary half kilo of gold simply by scanning their receipts on the SHARE app. For those looking to maximise their gold and jewellery purchases, a special one-day-only flash sale on 29 October, in celebration of Dhanteras, will offer 5 per cent cashback on all gold and jewellery buys, ensuring an even more rewarding Diwali shopping spree.

Home to four of the region’s most beloved, affordable, and stylish brands – Splash, Shoemart, Babyshop, and Lifestyle, Centrepoint is offering a wide range of affordable brands, with plenty to choose from in fashion, kids and baby products, beauty, footwear and home décor. From 25 October to 7 November, shoppers who spend AED 300 or more at City Centre Deira, Ibn Battuta Mall, Oasis Mall Dubai and BurJuman Mall, will receive a scratch card and 80 lucky shoppers will win gold coins.
