Air Cargo Demand Maintains Double-Digit Growth in February

04 April 2024 - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for February 2024 global air cargo markets showing continuing strong annual growth in demand. Total demand, measured in cargo tonne-kilometers (CTKs*), rose by 11.9% compared to February 2023 levels (12.4% for international operations). This is the third consecutive month of double-digit year-on-year demand growth. 06 March 2024 (Geneva) - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for January 2024 global air cargo markets indicating a strong start to 2024. 2023 Safest Year for Flying By Several Parameters

28 February 2024 - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released its 2023 Annual Safety Report for global aviation. Aviation continues to make progress on safety with several 2023 parameters showing “best-ever” results. There were no hull losses or fatal accidents involving passenger jet aircraft in 2023. However, there was a single fatal accident involving a turboprop aircraft, resulting in 72 fatalities.
