Dubai. Roads and Transport Authority. 13th March 2025:
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has conducted a comprehensive inspection campaign targeting car dealerships across the emirate to assess their compliance with regulations and procedures governing transaction processing and archiving, ensuring alignment with approved standards.
This campaign is part of RTA’s ongoing efforts to enhance service efficiency and ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations. Such measures play a vital role in improving customer experience and reinforcing public confidence in the services provided.
The campaign, which covered 14 car dealerships, aimed to identify authorised dealerships entitled to process transactions and those operating representative offices for RTA. It also sought to audit service quality, ensure proper documentation and archiving, review employee authorisations, and monitor violations and non-compliance to ensure full adherence to RTA’s regulations.
Additionally, the campaign audited key dealership services, including new vehicle registration, vehicle possession, ownership transfers, exports, number plate changes, and traffic file opening.
Al Ramsi further noted that the campaign had successfully achieved its objectives, ensuring strong governance and oversight of service delivery in line with Dubai’s prevailing laws and regulations.
