Abu Dhabi, January 22, 2017: Scientists at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) have developed a new technique to remove toxic contaminants from water. CalP, as it has been named, is calixarene-based superhydrophobic porous material that acts as a water purifier by repelling water and attracting toxins like oil and dye.

Abu Dhabi, December 7, 2016: NYU Abu Dhabi graduate Mohammed Omar has been selected as a 2017 Schwarzman Scholar, an honor that will support master’s degree study at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
